Jakarta, suarabali.com – Panglima TNI Marsekal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto menerima audiensi Ketua Umum Persatuan Industri Pertahanan Swasta Nasional (Pinhantanas) Evi Lusviana beserta pengurus lainnya di Mabes TNI Cilangkap, Jakarta Timur, Rabu (9/5/2018).
Dalam audiensinya, Ketua Umum Pinhantanas melaporkan progres yang telah dilaksanakan industri pertahanan swasta nasional dalam upaya mendorong perkembangan industri pertahanan nasional.
“Asosiasi Industri Pertahanan Swasta Nasional telah menghasilkan berbagai jenis produk alutsista yang sudah dinyatakan lulus uji kelayakan dan mendapatkan sertifikat dari Kemhan maupun TNI,” ucapnya.
“Sebagai contoh, kami sudah memproduksi kendaraan taktis, kapal perang, kapal angkut, perlengkapan prajurit, dan dapur lapangan yang dapat melayani sekitar 500 prajurit dalam waktu dua jam, dan ini sudah digunakan oleh TNI AL,” ungkap Evi Lusviana.
Menanggapi laporan itu, Panglima TNI Marsekal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto mendukung apa yang telah dilakukan oleh Asosiasi Industri Pertahanan Swasta Nasional dalam upaya mendorong kemajuan dan perkembangan industri pertahanan nasional.
“Dengan adanya Industri Pertahanan Swasta Nasional dapat memberikan persaingan yang sehat terhadap pertumbuhan industri pertahanan milik BUMN. Dengan persaingan tersebut, diharapkan dapat memacu produktivitas dan inovasi perkembangan industri pertahanan dalam negeri, sehingga kebutuhan Alutsista Pertahanan Nasional dapat terpenuhi,” ungkapnya.
Panglima TNI mengharapkan produk alutsista dan perlengkapan prajurit harus disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan end user atau pengguna, bukan atas kemauan produsen. Sehingga, produk yang dihasilkan bisa dipakai oleh prajurit dalam melaksanakan tugasnya di lapangan dengan baik dan aman.
