Sandiaga Uno menjelaskan, saat ini dia sudah tidak memiliki lagi rasa pesimisme lantaran rasa pesimisme tersebut sudah ditanggalkan sejak dahulu.
“Urat pesimis saya sudah putus. Saya optimistis sekali dapat membangkitkan sektor pariwisata dan ekonomi kreatif lewat kerja sama semua pihak. Rasa optimisme itu saya perlihatkan dengan jaket biru yang saya kenakan,” katanya saat diskusi virtual bersama Kepala Dinas Pariwisata, Sabtu (26/12/2020).
Seperti diketahui, saat diperkenalkan Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) sebagai Calon Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Menparekraf) Republik Indonesia di Veranda Istana Merdeka Jakarta pada Selasa (22/12/2020), keenam calon menteri baru menggunakan jaket biru polos bertutup kepala.
“Ini adalah simbol kerja keras, kerja cepat, integritas, dan ini bentuknya jaket yang all weather atau segala kondisi. Jadi, kita tetap bisa bekerja dalam situasi apapun juga. Siap memberikan kontribusi terbaik bagi bangsa dan negara,” kata Sandiaga sembari menunjukkan jaket biru yang dikenakannya.
Terkait jaket biru yang dia kenakan, Sandiaga menantang pemerintah daerah untuk menciptakan jaket sejenis. Hanya saja, jaket yang harus mencerminkan ciri khas daerah yang bertujuan dapat menggerakkan ekonomi kreatif lokal pada masa depan.
