“Dari sekian banyak pengembangan PLTS di Indonesia, PLTS yang dikelola oleh Perusda BMB (Bhukti Mukti Bhakti) Bangli ini merupakan PLTS yang sering menjadi rujukan kunjungan maupun pusat pelatihan energi baru terbarukan,” kata Alex di Kantor Bupati Bangli, Kamis (3/12/2020).
Dalam kesempatan itu, Tim Kunjungan Kerja Spesifik Komisi VII DPR RI juga meninjau langsung PLTS Kayubihi.
Politisi Fraksi Partai Golkar ini mengungkapkan, Komisi VII DPR RI memandang perlu untuk menjadikan PLTS Kayubihi di Bangli sebagai obyek kunjungan Komisi VII DPR RI pada Masa Persidangan II Tahun Sidang 2020-2021.
Saat ini Komisi VII DPR sedang menyusun RUU EBT untuk mendukung kebijakan energi nasional, dimana energi terbarukan memiliki peranan penting sebagai sumber energi pada masa mendatang.
Pada tahun 2013, Pemerintah Provinsi Bali bekerja sama dengan Pemerintah Kabupaten Bangli dan Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) RI telah meresmikan PLTS di Bangli. Pengelolaan PLTS ini dilaksanakan Perusahaan Daerah Kabupaten Bangli, Bhukti Mukti Bhakti (Perusda-BMB). PLTS ini menghasilkan daya 1 MWp dan terhubung langsung ke jaringan Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN). (Rls/Sir)
